On Thursday evening, Pebble Beach Food & Wine officially kicks off at the magnificent Inn at Spanish Bay for a night of unbridled indulgence.  The entire property will be transformed into an epicurean paradise; stroll throughout the Inn to sample decadent bites from twenty-three of the weekend’s top chefs.  Sip slowly from a selection of over two-hundred wines showcased by top domestic and international producers.

Founded in 1986 by Judy Jordan, J Vineyards & Winery is an independently-owned Sonoma County winery. The Winery continues its 25th Anniversary celebration.

J Vineyards & Winery focuses on non-vintage Brut, Vintage Brut, and Brut Rosé sparkling wines, as well as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris Estate varietal wines, all produced from grapes farmed primarily within Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley appellation.

How long have you been a member of Club J?

Not sure, though we are in our tenth year of being J fans.  I was first at the property in the mid-80s when it was Piper Sonoma. Was visiting the wine country from Alaska, where I grew up and began my career.

What do you like best / enjoy about Club J?



We thoroughly enjoy the J experience and the treatment we receive from the cast of characters on the J staff.

The hospitality is friendly, superb, always!! Can't single out anyone in particular, all are terrific!!

The Bubble Room is our favorite. We are there monthly and with every menu change.

It's great to stop by for our club pickups, to celebrate something, or just because...



What is your favorite J Wine & Food Pairing?



We like to experience all of Mark's pairings.  The "chocolate" menu was terrific. Who would of "thunk" you could use chocolate the way that Mark did?!

It's great that the recipes are available. We do "try this at home," often.

Being virtually retired, we like to travel the highways visiting family, friends and wine areas around the country. And, not necessarily in that order!!
