"A luscious but in no sense heavy or fat wine, full of ripe pear fruit flavor and exhibiting a long, lingering finish, this delicious white provides still more evidence that Pinot Gris may well become the varietal to challenge Chardonnay's dominance in America. It tastes just as rich as a good, comparably-priced California-styled Chardonnay, and delights because of the absence of char or toast. 90"
