J 2007 Russian River Valley Pinot Gris - 90 Points Best Buy on Wine Talk by Robert Whitley

The J 2007 Russian River Valley Pinot Gris receives 90 Points as a Best Buy wine on Wine Talk by Robert Whitley.

Whitley, who's "Wine Talk" column is syndicated nationally by Creators Syndicate and published in major newspapers such as the San Diego Union-Tribune, also oversees three major international wine competitions including the Critics Challenge, the San Diego International Wine Competition and the Monterey Wine Competition.

He asserts, "J's 2007 Pinot Gris expresses many of the attributes found in the pinot gris of France's Alsace region, from the lush richness on the palate to the subtle aromas of honeysuckle and pear that are typical of this wine when produced in the French style."

He also finds J's Pinot Gris to be "balanced nicely with lively acidity that gives the fruit a juicy freshness, and showing a hint food wine that will pair well with grilled scallops."
